Update4u Software AG was an independent German software manufacturer with a strong focus on IT service orientation and IT compliance. In 2009 the company merged with Matrix42 AG. The Update4u Suite (now known aswas the market-leading German software for service catalogs and integrated license management. In recognition of this service orientation Update4u was the first German company to receive the ITIL V3 certification by Pink Elephant. The Update4u Suite provided out-of-the-box, best-practice solutions -- fast and easily. The suite comprised functions such as a service catalog and service management, license, asset and contract management and also cost allocation, pricing and budget management functionality. The state-of-the-art, Microsoft-based web application could be customized easily and integrated via standard interfaces into existing system landscapes. Companies from the mid-segment as well as large enterprises and IT providers relied on Update4u Software AG. At the time of its merger with matrix42, the company had more than 60 employees and had been in the market for nearly 10 years. Customers included renowned companies such as Brose, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Post, Dräxlmaier, R V Versicherungen, Toll Collect and TDS, Wincor Nixdorf and Swisscom IT Services.
